Fritillaria Kurdica 19-20

New, the last issue of our bulletin is out and available under the link.

In Issue 19-20 of the bulletin, we present articles in English, Kurdish and Polish. The paper by Mustafa Dehqan and Vural Genç presents a recently found document which records the Abbasid descent of Ḥakkari emirs. Two texts by Artur Rodziewicz provide an insight into the reality of Yezidis in Georgia, including an interview with Kerim Amoev. Azad Hajji Aqaye focuses on the different approaches to nationalism in the Kurdish context. Zuzanna Roszka’s review discusses the novel by American Jewish author Ariel Sabar, My Father’s Paradise: A Son's Search for His Jewish Past in Kurdish Iraq. Miklós Sárközy’s report highlights the topics of the conference on ‘Women’s Solidarity During War’ that was held on 27 May 2017 in Vienna. This is the last issue of the bulletin since 2013 to be published within the scope of the project How to make a voice audible? Continuity and change of Kurdish culture and of social reality in postcolonial perspective, as the project ended on 19 February 2018.
