Transmission of cultural patterns among migrant Kurds

The presentation will provide the introduction to a series of lecture concerning relations between Kurdish culture and urban areas. At the beginning some general information on Kurds in Turkey and North Kurdistan will be given in order to start the analysis of Kurdish migration within the country and migration waves. Some general information about migraiton also from other parts of Kurdistan will be shared. At the last part of presentation Istanbul will serve as a particular example of Kurdish internal migration.Showed will be  ways of transmitting cultural patterns from North Kurdistan to Istanbul.
